Website renewal and migration

Replace a confusing site while preserving useful customer routes.

A buyer follows a saved product link after the item has been withdrawn. The new website sends them to its homepage, where neither the old reference nor the reason for the change is explained. We can renew a supplier website around this lost customer context, keeping useful routes while improving the catalogue, navigation and editing process.

Decide whether there is a replacement

In a fictional catalogue, item 0042 is retired and another item looks similar. Your business decides whether that alternative is suitable to recommend. If suitability still needs assessment, a retired-item page can identify the old reference, explain its status and open a relevant enquiry. It should not silently present the new item as equivalent.

The same decision applies to an old specification link. It may lead to a replacement, a version explanation or an authorised historical copy. We record that choice with the person responsible for the content. Existing Bosnian-language entry points retain an appropriate language route and their explicit review limits; moving a page does not approve its wording.

Renew the route the buyer actually uses

A paid first release can cover a selected catalogue area, its important old URLs, the revised page structure and the editor's retirement/update controls. Acceptance follows a saved item link into a request and checks that staff can recognise what prompted it. It also checks an item with no suitable replacement. If a retirement notice and a small editing change solve the problem, we can scope that repair instead of assuming a full rebuild.

Bring public examples of the old routes and your approved retirement decisions. The retired-item note develops the customer case. Hosting access, a recoverable release and any wider migration are assessed for the actual site before implementation commitments.
