BAM and payments / operating handoff

Design around the client’s bank and accounting path

The Central Bank describes national payment infrastructure and launched a domestic instant-payment system in 2026. A product must still confirm the client’s actual participating bank, available service, commercial arrangement, interface, and accounting process.

Span 1

Start with the business record

Identify the payer and payee, product or service, invoice owner, tax decision owner, amount and rounding rules, currency, due date, settlement account, refund or reversal process, and accounting system. The software should preserve the business record even when the payment provider is delayed or unavailable.

  • BAM formatting and test invoices
  • Customer and supplier identity
  • Status transitions
  • Reconciliation owner
Span 2

Confirm the exact rail

A bank announcement is not an API contract. The client obtains current eligibility, documentation, credentials, sandbox or test route, limits, support, security requirements, and settlement terms from its bank or provider. Faith Forge Labs integrates only within that authorized relationship.

  • Participating bank confirmed
  • Current technical specification
  • Credential and secret owner
  • Provider outage and retry behavior
Span 3

Reconcile outcomes, not button clicks

Testing covers accepted, rejected, duplicate, delayed, reversed, refunded, and unmatched transactions. The operational view should show what needs human attention without silently changing a financial record. Logs must avoid exposing credentials or unnecessary personal and payment data.

  • Idempotency and replay protection
  • Ledger-to-provider match
  • Exception queue
  • Audit evidence and retention

Bring the banking and accounting owners together

A productive integration review includes the participating bank/provider, current specification, invoice flow, settlement account, exception process, and acceptance evidence.
